Melissa Brown is currently a State Political Reporter at Tennessean. Previously, Melissa has worked as an Enterprise Reporter at Montgomery Advertiser as well as in various reporting and editing positions at companies such as Cahaba Media Group, Associated Press, Birmingham Business Journal, and Alabama Media Group. Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The University of Alabama. Additionally, Melissa has experience in managing a team of writers and directing editorial meetings.
