Mark Semanchik has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Mark started their career as an Engineering Technician at Wold Communications/Keystone/GlobeCast, where they were responsible for tasks such as videotape play out, setup of remote microwave equipment, and satellite uplink and downlink operations. Mark then joined GlobeCast as a Satellite Earth Station Engineering Supervisor, where they supervised a team of technicians and handled the installation, maintenance, and repair of video and transmission equipment. Mark also worked on special projects such as setting up video compression systems for major events like the Hong Kong Handover in 1997 and the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Later on, Mark worked at Motorola Mobility as a Field Engineer, providing services for video satellite uplink equipment and managing customers in the New York Metropolitan Area. Mark then joined ARRIS as a Project Engineer/Field Engineer, where they were involved in the installation and maintenance of ARRIS/Motorola video satellite uplink equipment and supervised field engineers. Currently, Mark Semanchik holds the role of Senior Engineer at The Switch.
