Richard Stafford is an experienced freelance journalist and sports enthusiast with a diverse background in writing and broadcasting. Since January 1995, Richard has worked as a freelance writer, notably contributing to The Daily Telegraph as a travel writer. Their previous roles include Sports TV Director/Producer, where Richard produced news packages in a busy London newsroom, and held positions at News UK as a Sports Writer-Journalist and Sub Editor. Richard's early career involved reporting for the Portsmouth News and East Hampshire Post, later becoming News Editor for the Haslemere Messenger and Assistant Editor at Golf World magazine. Additionally, Richard has served as an obituary writer for The Times and authored a series of sports books. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies and a Bachelor's in Humanitarian Studies from King's College London.
