Prior to this role, Chris held various editorial positions, including Editor at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK and Regional Executive Editor at GateHouse Media. Throughout Chris's career, significant contributions include advancing digital-first strategies, enhancing social media engagement, and overseeing the launch of several publications, such as the award-winning My Lenoir magazine. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Mount Olive and a BA in Journalism from Pepperdine University.
