Liz Nass currently serves as the Editor in Chief of The State News, contributing to various editorial roles since October 2021, including Houselights Host and Cultural Politics Reporter. In addition to this position, Liz is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences and works as an Undergraduate Consultant at the Michigan State University Writing Center. Upcoming experiences include a Reporting Internship at Gongwer News Service Michigan and participation as a Salzburg Global Fellow. Previous work includes roles at MLive.com, Liz's Campus Media, and South Bend Tribune, along with freelance positions as an Entertainment Reporter and Data Researcher. Liz is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Political Science at Michigan State University, expected to graduate in 2025.
