Ta'Mara Hill, MHR, currently serves as the Human Rights & Equal Economic Opportunity Commissioner for the City of Saint Paul, providing advisory support and reviewing the performance of the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Department Director. Ta'Mara is also the creator, researcher, and host of the Right the Wrong Podcast, which highlights the struggles of global human rights defenders. Previous roles include National Director of Policy Campaigns & Government Affairs at Worth Rises, Policy Director at Minnesota Justice Research Center, and various fellowships focused on community equity and leadership development. Ta'Mara holds a Master of Human Rights in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wiley University.
