Liv Sisson is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in writing, marketing, and food storytelling. Currently serving as the Commercial Editor at The Spinoff since April 2024, Liv is also an author with Penguin Random House New Zealand, having fulfilled a long-held dream of publishing a book in 2023. As a Kaitaki Food Storyteller with Eat New Zealand, Liv contributes to the narrative of New Zealand's food culture, while maintaining a freelance writing practice that spans various platforms. Previous roles include Growth Marketing Manager at Capital Preferences and Digital Commerce Programme Manager at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where Liv focused on enhancing digital success for exporters. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Fine Art from Washington and Lee University.
