Tony Sharpe has worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years. Starting in 1999, they began their career as a Copywriter at Foote Cone & Belding (True North). In 2001, they moved to FCB Global (IPG) where they held the roles of SVP, Group Creative Director and VP, Creative Director. In 2012, they joined Moxie (Publicis Groupe) as SVP, Executive Creative Director. In 2015, they were appointed Executive Creative Director at VMLY&R COMMERCE, where they worked on brands such as Nestl\u00e9, John Deere, Brand USA, E. &J. Gallo, Bombardier Recreational Products, ContiTech, Sherwin-Williams. That same year, they also became Executive Producer/Creative Director at Ohio Film Group. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an independent Creative Director/Copywriter, winning awards for their work on brands like Mizuno, Hertz, Thrifty, Budget, StayWell, Krames, Safelite, Lilly, L Brands, BentoBox, Sunrun, ScottsMiracle-Gro, San Diego Gas & Electric, Boll\u00e9 Sunglasses, IN-N-OUT Burger, Tim Horton's & Burger King. In 2019, they joined Universal Admedia as an Advisory Board Member. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Creative Director at The Shipyard.
Tony Sharpe holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, Film, and Theirtory from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tony also attended The Second City for Improv Comedy.
