Deidre Casey has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and UX fields since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Marketing and Website Designer at Madwire Marketing. In 2012, they were a Marketing Content Manager at Suzy Johnston + Associates Inc. In 2013, they worked as a Marketing Manager and Front End Web Developer at Gryphon Games & Comics. From 2015-2021, they worked at Sphero in various roles, including Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Assurance & Localization Analyst, and Social Media Content Strategist. In 2021, they began working as a UX Content Strategist (TechPubs) and Technical Writer at Nordic Semiconductor.

Deidre Casey obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Asian Linguistics from Colorado State University between 2008 and 2014. Deidre also holds certifications from Udemy, LinkedIn e-learning, the Japan Foundation and Japan Education Exchanges and Services, and Google. These include Mobile Automation: Appium Cucumber for Android&iOS + Jenkins (2020), Using Python for Automation (2019), Automate the Boring Stuff with Python - Certificate of Completion (2018), JLPT N4 (2016), and Google Analytics Certification (2015).
