Jeremiah H. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeremiah started their career as a Detail Tech and Intermediate Mechanic at Howe's Auto Sales from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, where they held various roles including JK Assistant, Substitute Teacher, and Junior Kindergarten Grade Head. From 2010, they worked at The Second City Training Center as a Training Center Teacher, teaching Improv to children and adults. Jeremiah also had a brief stint at The Second City Theatricals as a Talent in 2012 and 2013. Currently, they are an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University since 2019.

Jeremiah H. completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music at Ohio Northern University from 1999 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education at DePaul University-College of Education from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, in 2007 and 2008, Jeremiah attended The Second City Conservatory to study Comedy and Sketch Comedy, although they did not complete a degree there.
