Kevin Markert is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Systems Engineering, Technology and Projects Manager at The Seattle Times since February 1997, Kevin oversees a team of system engineers dedicated to improving hardware and software solutions for production equipment. Previous roles include Lead Electrician, where Kevin managed industrial control projects, and Project Engineer at Process Solutions, focusing on industrial controls for the food-cooking industry. Kevin's earlier experience includes technical roles as a Field Service Technician at Hart Novelty and Mount Vernon Business Machines. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Western Washington University and a Project Management certificate from the University of Washington.
