Veronica Mitchell is an accomplished columnist and caregiver advocate, currently writing for The San Diego Union Tribune since March 2018 with a focus on caregiving issues. In addition to this role, Veronica works as a freelance writer, speaker, and consultant, specializing in topics related to aging, cannabis, caregiving, and resilience. Previous roles include column writing for the San Diego Community News Network, multimedia representation and project management at Direct Cannabis Network, and event organizing for Ellementa. Veronica co-founded Laura Ann's Helping Hands, Inc., where Veronica served as CEO, and has extensive managerial experience from positions at various restaurants and a property management company. Education was obtained at Montgomery College.
