Adriana Heldiz is an accomplished multimedia journalist and visual editor with extensive experience in the field of journalism. Currently serving as the Assistant Visuals Editor at CalMatters since July 2023, Adriana previously held the role of Multimedia Journalist at The San Diego Union-Tribune since March 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Multimedia Producer at Voice of San Diego, where significant contributions included the creation of the San Diego 101 video series, reporting and editing feature videos highlighting marginalized communities, and enhancing social media engagement, particularly on Instagram. Adriana's educational background includes studies at San Diego State University from 2015 to 2017, Southwestern Community College District from 2011 to 2015, and attendance at Olympian High School.
