Carey Tinsley

Carey Tinsley is an administrative assistant currently working in the Executive Office at The San Diego Foundation. Prior to their current position, Carey worked as a Development Administrative Assistant at Ocean Discovery Institute from March 2015 to July 2018. In this role, Carey was responsible for interviewing and staffing certified athletic trainers, maintaining game and practice schedules, fundraising, and completing comprehensive inventory of athletic training rooms. Carey was also the Lead Chair for Athletes Saving Athletes (A4IA), an advocacy organization dedicated to promoting sports safety. In this role, Carey worked directly with administrators to form a comprehensive list of participating student athletes, organized set up and tear down of events, managed audio/visual set up of presentations, supervised event volunteers, created marketing materials, and secured donated lunch for students, volunteers, and administrators. Carey's previous experience also includes working as the Camps and League Director at Adrenaline Lacrosse from February 2013 to June 2014.

Carey Tinsley attended Grossmont College.
