Scott Hurula currently serves as Pastor and Corps Administrator at The Salvation Army of Joliet, providing leadership for ministries that address community needs in Joliet and Will County. In previous roles, Scott directed Hope-Strong Ministries, which aims to enhance community-based ministry in Chicago, and served as Director of Educational Partnerships at Olivet Nazarene University, fostering relationships with school districts for teacher development. Additional experiences include leadership positions in various divisions of The Salvation Army, where Scott focused on Corps Growth, Hispanic Ministries, and local outreach. Scott also contributed to economic development in the food sector as Branded Program Manager at Food Export. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Secondary Education from Asbury University and furthered education at Northern Seminary.
