Damian Perez Mazliah is a distinguished researcher in the field of immunology, currently serving as a Royal Society University Research Fellow at The Royal Society since November 2022 and as an Independent Research Fellow in Immunology at Hull York Medical School since August 2019. Alongside these roles, Damian holds the position of Senior Editor for EBioMedicine, The Lancet, and has been a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist specializing in Flow Cytometry at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2012. Previous experiences include positions as a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute, and Graduate Research Fellowships at Instituto Nacional de ParasitologÃa "Dr. M Fatala Chaben" and Hospital Interzonal General de Agudos "Eva Perón." Education includes a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences with a focus on Immunology, a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Buenos Aires.
