Madeleine Girling is an accomplished theatre designer with extensive experience in set and costume design. Currently serving as an Assistant Designer at the Royal Shakespeare Company since April 2013, Madeleine has also designed for notable productions including "Time & the Conways" and "Arcadia" at Nottingham Playhouse, plus "Gardening for the Unfulfilled and Alienated" at Undeb Theatre. Additional work includes set design for "Tender Napalm" and "How To Curse" at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and contributions to various productions at Bristol Old Vic, including roles as a Prop & Puppet Assistant and Art Co-Director. Educational background includes a BA Hons in Theatre Design from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, completed in 2012.
