Mohamed El Shamy is a seasoned professional in the construction and hospitality industries, currently serving as the Founder of Koncurent since January 2023, where the focus is on transforming construction procurement through integration with Procore. In addition, Mohamed co-leads Mouno Hospitality as Co-Chief Executive Officer, launching successful ventures such as Moxy's: The Sandwich Hub and Ei8ht Ounce: Specialty Coffee + Juice Bar. As Chief Executive Officer at ConTech Global since September 2021, Mohamed oversees strategic operations while also contributing as ROC at The Rollout Crew. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Project Manager at Lee Kennedy Co., Inc., where involvement in a significant project at Harvard's Winthrop House was notable, alongside an internship at Suffolk Construction focused on a CLT building project. Mohamed's academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Building & Construction Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, complemented by extensive involvement in various organizations and initiatives related to sustainable building practices.
