Rob Collins is an accomplished professional in environmental science and policy, currently serving as the Director of Policy and Science at The Rivers Trust since January 2012. With a strong background in water management, Rob has held prior positions as Project Manager for the Water Group at the European Environment Agency from January 2007 to December 2011, and as a Senior Environmental Consultant at WRc plc. Rob's career also includes significant experience as a Senior Scientist and Leader of the National Water Resources Centre at NIWA, as well as a Senior Scientist specializing in water at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Educationally, Rob holds a PhD in Water Quality from Reading University and CEH Wallingford, along with an MSc in Remote Sensing from University College and Imperial College London.
