Dorothy A. White, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist currently working at The River School since August 2020. Prior experience includes a pre-doctoral internship at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents and various roles at The George Washington University, where Dorothy served as both a coding supervisor and research assistant. Additional clinical training occurred at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and multiple externships at The River School and The Meltzer Center for Psychological and Community Based Services. Dorothy holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French Language, Literature and Culture, graduating Cum Laude.
