Jim Murren currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, alongside their role as Chairman of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority. Murren is also Co-Chairman at Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group and Co-Founder of Acies Investments, focusing on venture capital in the sports betting and esports sectors. Additionally, Murren holds positions on the Board of Trustees at Howard University and Trinity College-Hartford, serves on the Board of Directors of PLAYSTUDIOS and Simplebet, and was a Board Member at REI and a Non-Executive Director at Paysafe Group. Murren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Urban Studies from Trinity College-Hartford.
