Eben M. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Eben was an Entrepreneur In Residence at Artesian (Alternative Investments) starting in 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor and Director at theright.fit, where they mentored and provided support in fundraising, product development, and team building.
In 2017, Eben worked as an Advisor at Early Stage Ventures, offering executive coaching and guidance on fund raising, product strategies, and team building for four early-stage ventures. From 2013 to 2018, they held the position of CIO at General Pants Co., where they were responsible for technology, data, and process automation. This role included executing a growth-oriented technology strategy, modernizing infrastructure, and delivering new software solutions.
Prior to General Pants Co., Eben worked as CTO at The Iconic from 2011 to 2013, managing the technology strategy and operations for an eCommerce website. Eben was also responsible for online merchandising, marketing, and customer experience.
From 2009 to 2011, Eben served as a Senior Director of Product Marketing at HP Autonomy. In this role, they acted as a global subject matter expert and evangelist for the Autonomy Marketing Solutions business unit.
Earlier in their career, Eben worked as the Global Product Marketing Director at Interwoven, where they were responsible for product strategy and marketing for the Web Solutions software and services business. Eben also co-founded, served as President and CEO of 13 Colonies Software, and successfully sold the company to Interwoven.
Eben's work experience also includes roles as Vice President and GM at Student Advantage and CollegeClub, where they managed integration, memberships, and customer growth.
Eben M. has a diverse educational background. From 1992 to 2004, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics, Philosophy, and Anthropology. In 1994, Eben also spent a year at the University of Sydney, where they studied Physics, Philosophy, and Anthropology. Additionally, during the same year, they conducted research at Peking University in the field of Physics. Eben further expanded their research in 1994 by conducting research in Cultural Anthropology at Thammasat University in Thailand and at The University of Hong Kong.
