Bennett Roth-Newell is an accomplished music educator and performing musician with extensive experience in teaching and directing music programs. Currently serving as the Music and Creative Arts Director at The Riekes Center and as an adjunct faculty member for Jazz Piano at West Valley College since August 2022, Bennett has a history of teaching applied lessons in jazz piano and overseeing creative arts instruction, including hip-hop production. With a career as a performing musician, Bennett has played at various venues, showcasing jazz, R&B, soul, hip-hop, and funk genres. Previous roles include adjunct faculty positions at Valley Christian Schools, Cogswell Polytechnical College, and San Jose State University, along with private piano instruction through The Music Teachers Network. Bennett holds a Master's degree in Music: Jazz Studies from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Sonoma State University.
