Amber Cole began their work experience in 2012 at Amigo Loans, where they held various roles including Researcher, Project Manager, and ultimately, Head of Business Change. In 2016, they moved on to The Richmond Group, where they currently serve as the Director.

Amber Cole attended Thomas Hardye School from 2004 to 2008, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time. Following their schooling at Thomas Hardye, they went on to attend Durham University from 2008 until 2011. At Durham, Amber obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography.
