Leah Ko

Director, Contract Design - Rapid Design at The Resource Group

Leah Ko, MBA, CAPM has an extensive work experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Leah started their career as a Sales Associate at The Limited in 2005. After that, they worked as a Supply Management Analyst Intern at Unilever North America-Home & Personal Care in 2007, where they achieved significant cost savings and managed various projects. In 2008, they interned at General Motors in their Global Purchasing & Supply Chain/Inbound Logistics department.

Leah then joined Ralcorp Holdings in 2009, starting as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst and later becoming a Strategic Sourcing Associate. Here, they managed a significant amount of spend and led strategic sourcing and purchasing initiatives, resulting in substantial savings. Leah also played a key role in managing supplier performance and implementing Ariba software for newly acquired locations.

In 2012, Leah joined The Resource Group, Spend Management Solutions as a Sourcing Agent, and gradually moved up the ladder to become a Sourcing Manager and eventually a Senior Sourcing Manager. At The Resource Group, they aligned contract opportunities with Ascension initiatives and groups, assessed data, monitored vendor/market data, and worked towards achieving a competitive advantage in cost, quality, technology, and supply continuity across disciplines.

Leah's most recent role at The Resource Group is as a Director, Contract Design - Rapid Design, starting in 2023. In this position, they are responsible for contract design and implementing rapid design strategies.
