Carmel Mayol is an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as the Assistant Controller at Related Group since September 2017, Carmel previously held the position of Accounting Manager at the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Property Accountant at Vie Management, where responsibilities included maintaining financial activity for multiple properties and conducting month-end close procedures. Earlier career positions involved working as a Staff Accountant at Gursey | Schneider LLP, handling cash flow for high net worth clients, and as a Payroll Analyst at CAPS, overseeing client invoicing and payroll quality control. Carmel holds a B.S. in Business Economics from UC Irvine and has received further education at UCLA.
