Mary Chavez currently serves as the Director of People Operations at The RealReal, a position held since April 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing People Operations, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Compliance to enhance employee experiences. Mary’s extensive experience prior to The RealReal includes various leadership roles at Levi Strauss & Co., where duties encompassed managing the Leave of Absence Program and overseeing Global Employee Relations, Compliance, and Policy. Earlier career positions included senior human resources roles at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Sourcecorp, and Sybron Dental Specialties. Mary holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from California State University, Long Beach.
