Travis Packer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, policy, and community service. Currently serving as a Transformer at The Ready since April 2022, Travis previously held multiple leadership positions at Teach For America from June 2014 to June 2022, including Managing Director of Network Strategy and Director of Local Leadership. Travis's earlier career includes teaching at Warren County Schools and roles as a Policy Research Assistant at the Immigration Policy Center and as a Legislative Intern at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. Travis also worked as a Summer Associate at the UNC Center for Civil Rights and as a Community Coordinator for Appalachia Service Project. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from North Carolina State University.
