Andrea Granahan is an accomplished correspondent with extensive experience in journalism, particularly in travel and feature writing. Granahan has been with the Press Democrat since February 2011, covering west Sonoma County and specializing in Sebastopol towns. With a career spanning over three decades, Granahan has held various roles including investigative reporter, editor, and publisher, and has contributed to platforms such as the International Food Wine and Travel Writers and NATJA. Granahan is also the owner of North Coast Freelance, focusing on travel journalism and photography. Additionally, Granahan has been involved in multiple organizations, including serving as a founding publisher of the Bodega Bay Navigator. Granahan holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University.
