Wina Giddens has extensive experience in the field of human resources, particularly in benefits and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). Wina began their career in 2001 as a Human Resources Manager at Virginia International Terminals, Inc. and held this position until 2014. In 2015, they joined the Virginia Port Authority as a Manager, overseeing benefits and HRIS. Wina continued in this role until 2018 when they transitioned to the role of Director, Benefits & HRIS at The Port of Virginia. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in managing HR functions and implementing HRIS systems.
Wina Giddens obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University from 1980 to 1984. Wina later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from the same university from 1990 to 1993.
