Mark Tanner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark began their career in 2012 as a Cabin Counselor at Shrine Mont Camps, where they took care of youth aged 8-15 during summer sessions. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Pi Sigma Epsilon National Marketing Fraternity. In 2015, they were a Sports Marketing Intern at Outer Banks Daredevils. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Recruiter at Metro Systems, Inc., specializing in IT placements. Mark then transitioned to CoStar Group in 2017 as an Account Executive and later as a Marketing Research Advisor. In 2020, they joined American Express as a Field Marketing Agent. In 2021, they joined Sutherland as an Associate Manager in Talent Acquisition, and later became a Senior Team Manager. Currently, Mark is working as a Recruiter at The Port of Virginia since 2023.

Mark Tanner attended Radford University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations.
