Caitlin Skaff is the current Manager of Individual Giving at THE PITTSBURGH CULTURAL TRUST. Prior to this, they worked as a Grants and Resource Management Specialist at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania from August 2015 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for grant management and supporting the Community Impact Department, including administrative and operational support, communications and project management for a nonprofit organization that raises ~$40 million annually.
Caitlin was responsible for grant writing, reporting, acknowledgement processing, and prospect research for a grant portfolio of private foundation, corporate foundation, and government grants. Caitlin was also responsible for submission of approximately 335 proposals (~90% success rate) and 390 reports, primarily for the Allegheny County footprint, bringing in over $30 million in grant revenue.
In addition to their grant management responsibilities, Caitlin also supported cross-departmental/regional office interaction, including grant-making processes, leading large-scale volunteer events with donors, Speakers Bureau (volunteer fundraising support team management), budget support for programs, Wellness Committee member (including coordinating the office participation in the annual Spark Pittsburgh Step Challenge), DEI Committee member, legislative communications, invoice processing as needed, and handling administrative tasks and special projects as required.
They are on a team with Kaylin Cranmer - Manager, Development Systems, Endicott Reindl - Senior Manager of Individual Giving, and Brandon Thomas - Assistant Manager of Development Systems. Their manager is Nicholas Gigante, SVP of Development & Real Estate.
