Tiona Nekkia McClodden

Tiona Nekkia McClodden is an accomplished artist and filmmaker with a focus on activism and cultural representation. Currently serving as the 2021-2023 Princeton Arts Fellow at Princeton University, McClodden has also held the Keith Haring Fellowship in Art and Activism at Bard College since 2018. In addition, McClodden is a 2016 Pew Fellow and serves as a co-curator and project manager for the Bowerbird project "In Search of Eastman," which highlights the work of composer Julius Eastman. McClodden's documentary work includes significant projects such as "The Untitled Black Lesbian Elder Project," which features interviews with black lesbian elders, and "Justice at the Intersections," focusing on reproductive and economic justice in New York City.
