Sydney Nichols is an experienced art history and creative writing professional, currently serving as a Podcast Intern at Oxford American Magazine since September 2022 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas since April 2022. Previous roles include Curatorial Project Research Assistant and Curatorial Intern in American Art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts from May 2020 to March 2022, as well as the Inaugural Folk Arts Assistant at Arkansas Folk & Traditional Arts from May 2021 to September 2021. Sydney also worked as a Visiting Researcher at The Momentary from February 2019 to March 2020. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and English with a concentration in creative writing and Southern Studies from the University of Arkansas, completed in 2022.
