John Mauritz is a Tax Examiner Specialist at The Ohio Department of Taxation, with a focus on real property tax exemptions and Tax Increment Financing. Previous experience includes serving as an Electronics Maintenance Technician with the United States Marine Forces Reserve and working as an Insurance Agent at Bankers Life. John held the position of Senior Field Service Engineer at Automation and Control Technology and was a Field Service Representative at ABB prior to its acquisition by Automation and Control Technology. John also served as a Ground Radio Repairman in the United States Marine Corps. Academically, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from Franklin University and an Associate of Applied Science in Finance from Columbus State Community College, in addition to an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Palomar College.
