Erik Trautman is an experienced professional in technology and entrepreneurship, currently contributing to NEAR Protocol since August 2018. Erik held leadership roles as Chairman and Interim CEO at Satori Technologies Inc. until March 2024 and previously served as CEO of NEAR Foundation from 2019 to 2021. Erik was Head of Operations at Near Inc. and founded Viking Education, which was acquired by Thinkful in 2017. Erik also played a pivotal role in the initial development of The Odin Project and led a team at Tech for Campaigns focused on VA fundraising data systems. Erik served as President of the Coding School Alumni Association and performed various roles at App Academy in 2013. Educational background includes a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania and studies in Entrepreneurship at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. Erik's efforts at Phillips Academy as the Blue Key Alumni Liaison emphasize support and mentorship for alumni in entrepreneurship and technology.
