Dane Winbigler is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and management within the sporting and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Senior Development Engineer at Viconic Sporting, Dane is responsible for designing and implementing player safety products, including various safety gear for sports. Additionally, as North American Engineering Manager at The Oakwood Group, Dane oversees development engineering for thermoformed products and manages design engineering support for production operations across North America and Europe. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Development Engineer, focusing on occupant safety solutions, and as Advanced Technology/Product Engineer at Meridian Automotive Systems, where Dane conducted benchmarking and competitive analysis for bumper systems. Dane holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit Mercy.
