Gijs Kurth has extensive experience in public health, project management, and policy advice. Currently serving as a project medewerker Gezonde School at Voedingscentrum since January 2017, responsibilities include acting as the external point of contact for the Gezonde School initiative. Previous positions include secretaris for the taskforce antibioticaresistentie at the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, and projectmedewerker at the Municipality of The Hague, where Gijs coordinated municipal and European elections. Gijs has held various roles in government ministries, focusing on nutrition, food safety, and sustainable food systems, alongside experience in laboratory analysis and education mentoring. Gijs holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Biology and Behavioral and Neuroscience from Leiden University and the University of Groningen.
