Tara Ryan Kosmas, MSN, RN, NC-BC, CHSE, SOAR, currently serves as the Executive Director of Debriefing the Front Lines, Inc., a role held since March 2020, where Tara focuses on structured debriefing and emotional wellness offerings for nurses. In addition, Tara is a Content Contributor for The Nursing Beat, writing a biweekly column titled "Map of the Modern Nurse." Tara's prior experience includes positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Simulation Lab Coordinator at Towson University, as well as roles at the University of Maryland, MedStar Health, Florida Gulf Coast University, Lee Health, and Allegheny Health Network as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. Tara holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Duquesne University School of Nursing.
