Laura Effinger serves as a Senior Manager of Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis at The North West Company since September 2023, overseeing financial tracking for strategic initiatives and transformation projects. Effinger also participates in the President's Student Leadership Program Fellowship at the University of Manitoba. Previously, Effinger held the position of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Parian Logistics Inc., managing forecasting and budgeting across several store budgets and operational functions. Additional experience includes serving as Controller at Altima Cabinet Works Ltd and various financial roles at MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc., contributing to budgeting, process improvement, and analytics for retail and manufacturing operations. Currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Manitoba, Effinger holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Southern Indiana.
