Marita Bardino is a communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications, particularly within large organizations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at NHS Confederation since November 2012, Marita previously held the role of Communications Account Manager at the Department for Work and Pensions from September 2008 to December 2011, where key responsibilities included managing communications for 1500 staff and cascading important messages across the organization. As a Communications Officer at The Pension Service from January 2007 to August 2008, Marita oversaw internal communications for approximately 25,000 employees and managed the Intranet site. Earlier experience includes serving as an Internal Communications Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions from April 2003 to December 2006, where Marita drafted and disseminated messages to 140,000 staff and played a significant role in the redesign of the HR Intranet. Marita holds a BA Hons in Marketing and Management from the University of Central Lancashire.
