Katie Pesce is a seasoned professional in education and photography, with extensive experience in creating art programs for autistic elementary students at The Nexus School and A Step Up Academy since 2014. As the owner of KPescePhotography since 2006, Katie also serves as a social media coordinator for Girls on the Run of Montgomery County, managing various platforms including Facebook and Twitter. Prior to their current roles, Katie held positions as a 2nd grade teacher in both Boyertown Area School District and Fairfax County Public Schools, and directed a hiking and photography camp for youth. Katie’s early career included an internship with Scholastic, where involvement included curriculum development with noted education expert Marilyn Burns. Katie holds a degree from Elon University and has studied at the University of Wollongong.
