Troy Lewis serves as the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships at The Next Step Public Charter School, focusing on adult education and lifelong learning. Previously, Troy held the position of Director of Educational Marketing & Philanthropic Funding Consultant at Pathways to College, where efforts concentrated on expanding educational services for low-income students of color. Troy's extensive experience includes roles such as Capacity Building and Data Analysis Specialist at Community Youth Advance, Senior Director of Programs & Capacity Building at Education Services of Greater Washington, and Vocational Development Specialist at the DC Department of Human Services. With a strong background in education, Troy has also worked in various capacities at Thurgood Marshall College Fund, American University, University of Maryland, College Park, Prince George's Community College, and KIPP DC. Troy earned a Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Harvard University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
