Tom Chaparro is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in executive search and consulting. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at The Newport Group since June 2010, Tom specializes in recruiting senior-level management and technical leadership positions, particularly within the homebuilding, real estate development, multifamily, and construction sectors. Prior to this role, Tom was President of Chaparro Advisors from May 2001 to June 2010, focusing on executive search and consulting in real estate, construction, and energy. Earlier in the career, Tom held positions as General Manager and Retained Search Consultant at Management Solutions Inc./DL Weaver and Associates, and as Senior Executive Recruiter at BridgeGate, where the focus was on recruiting accounting, finance, and tax professionals. Tom holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from San Diego Mesa College.
