Yasin Osman is a versatile professional with extensive experience in youth empowerment, photography, and early childhood education. Currently serving as a cartoonist for The New Yorker since July 2020, Yasin also founded and continues to lead Shoot For Peace, a photo mentorship program established in 2015. Yasin has worked as a freelance photographer for various notable companies including Vice and Adidas since December 2014. Previous roles include Youth Services Coordinator at the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs, where Yasin managed programs for youth aged 11 to 24, and Registered Early Childhood Educator at Community Centre 55. Yasin's commitment to promoting social and emotional health in children is evident from a career that began with a focus on early childhood education, supplemented by a diploma from George Brown College.
