Gerald Yahoudy, CAIA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gerald began their career as an Internal Auditor at ABN AMRO North America in 1997. Gerald then moved on to NBT Bank in 1998, where they worked as an Internal Auditor for a year. In 1999, they joined Commercial Travelers Mutual Insurance Co. as an Accountant. Gerald then transitioned to a role as a Tax Auditor at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in 2000. After spending three years in this role, they joined the NYS Teachers' Retirement System in 2003, where they held various positions including Senior Accountant, Investment Officer, Private Equity Assistant Manager, Private Equity Manager, and ultimately, Managing Director of Private Equity. In this role, they oversaw the Private Equity & Private Debt Programs, managing billions of dollars in assets and maintaining relationships with numerous general partners.
Gerald Yahoudy, CAIA holds a Master's degree in Accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution, completing their studies in 1997. Gerald also pursued their Associate's degree in Accounting at Mohawk Valley Community College from 1993 to 1995. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association in November 2009 and the UniFi by CAIAâ„¢ Private Debt Microcredential in March 2023.
