Carolyn Charpie Fagan is an experienced teaching artist and education programs manager with a strong background in integrating the performing arts into educational settings. Currently a teaching artist at The New Victory Theater since July 2012, Carolyn specializes in professional development workshops for teachers and students of various ages, including work with the NYC DOE PreK for All initiative. Previous roles include managing in-school educational outreach programs, overseeing professional development for teachers, and developing arts-based curriculum at New Vic. Carolyn has also served as an education consultant for The Lulu & Leo Fund and ChooseCreativity.org, providing training and support to teachers nationally. With a Master's degree in Arts Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Theater and Philosophy from Boston College, Carolyn has contributed significantly to arts education in various capacities, including teaching theatre in public schools and developing innovative education programs.
