Jason Morgan is a Staff Solutions Architect at GitLab since April 2024 and has been a contributor at The New Stack since August 2020. Previously, Jason served as a Technical Evangelist at Buoyant, Inc. from February 2021 to April 2024 and held the position of Senior Platform Architect at VMware from February 2018 to February 2021. Additional experience includes working as a PaaS/Pipeline Technical Lead at DigitalGlobe and a Principal Engineer at Verizon, where focus was on delivering solutions for enterprise customers. Jason also held roles as a Systems Engineer for the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, System Administrator at Insight Global, and Network Operations NCOIC in the US Army, managing critical communication systems. Jason holds a degree from the University of Colorado Boulder.
