Kate Wagner is an accomplished architecture critic and writer, currently serving as the Architecture Critic for The New Republic since May 2019, where the bi-monthly column "America by Design" explores the political implications of American architecture. Additionally, Wagner has been contributing to the viral blog McMansion Hell since July 2016, which critiques suburban architecture while engaging with cultural commentary. Wagner's academic experience includes a position as an Adjunct Lecturer at Morgan State University, teaching a graduate seminar on sound and the built environment.
