Adrienne Mahsa Varkiani is the Deputy Editor at The New Republic, where responsibilities include creating a new vertical for breaking news and overseeing editorial vision. Prior to this role, Adrienne served as Program Director for Rights & Inclusion at ReThink Media, managing a team and focusing on communications strategies for racial justice organizations. Adrienne's experience also includes positions as Senior Editor at ThinkProgress and Associate Editor at PAAIA, where editorial oversight and communications strategies were key functions. Academically, Adrienne holds a Master's degree in International Relations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from American University.
